ET Chassis boosts Top Sportsman at Willowbank

The booming Top Sportsman category of racing has been boosted at Willowbank Raceway with ET Chassis & Race Cars signing on as sponsor of category for 2019 rounds of both the Queensland Drag Racing Championships and Willowbank rounds of the 400 Thunder Sportsman Series.

Top Sportsman is the newest category of 400 Thunder Championship Drag Racing and is contested by sedan vehicles running 8.99 seconds and quicker over the quarter mile dragstrip competing on the dial-your-own handicap system. With the class national record sitting in the low six second zone at over 375kph it is fast becoming one of the most popular Sportsman categories with race fans.

The ET Chassis & Race Cars sponsorship was launched at today’s round of the QDRC featuring a strong 20 car field. The company’s support will see the series winner, runner-up and third place getter in the series share in $2,500 prizemoney.  

The upcoming Gulf Western Oil WInternationals on June 6 to 9 at Willowbank Raceway has attracted a huge entry list featuring 58 drivers in ET Chassis & Race Cars Top Sportsman. Competition is expected to be extremely fierce as teams battle out the final round of the 400 Thunder Australian Championship.
