Important Notice for Competitors and Spectators regarding the Rained out Nostalgia Drags 11^th May 2013 

Entry Fees - Willowbank Raceway's policy with entry fees in this situation is that refunds are based on the amount of runs done.
If you had 3 or more runs – no credit is due
If you had 2 runs – $33 credit will be issued
If you had 1 run – $66 credit will be issued
If you had no runs – full credit will be issued 

Please note – if you entered online this credit will be refunded back to your credit card.  If you entered by fax or mail you will receive a credit note in the mail. 

Extra passes purchased at time of entry will be refunded back to the credit card used for entry.  These will not be valid at any other event. 

Tickets purchased at the gate - All tickets purchased at the gate will be valid for 6 months at face value from the rainout date.

The Shannons Insurance Show and Shine will be conducted on Saturday May 11th. All vehicles entering the show must be parked in the bunted off area behind the Autobarn Control Tower. All vehicles that wished to be judged, must be in this area by 9am. Judging will be completed during the day and the winners will be announced at 3pm. 

All entrants for the show must meet the Willowbank Raceway Official Ron Whelan at the entrance to the show area and pick up a number and fill out their contact details on a form. 

Judged Categories: Best GM, Best FORD, Best MOPAR, Best HOT ROD, Best USA Vehicle and Best AUSTRALIAN Vehicle.

May 11^th 2013 - Pre-entries will be available on the website until 5pm the Wednesday 1^st May. No on day entries will be accepted

Crew passes $20 for the event purchased at time of entry only
Spectators $25 per Adult per day, Students with ID $20 per day
kids 13 & under are free.

Collection of Entry forms, ESP and audit will be completed at the Scrutineering shed

Top Eliminator - 6.60 – Heads Up Pro Tree, no breakouts allowed
Quick Eliminator - 7.60 – Heads Up Pro Tree, no breakouts allowed
Mid Eliminator - 8.60 – Heads Up Pro Tree, no breakouts allowed
Super Eliminator - 9.60 – Heads Up Pro Tree, no breakouts allowed
Vintage Gas - 10.50 and slower, Pre 1970 specially themed sedans
Nostalgia DYO - 10.50 and slower – DYO (this bracket will be split into smaller car fields by ET’s and will include all vehicles slower than 10.50)
Retro Bikes - DYO

Racing
All Brackets will run Chicago Shootout – all competitors race 3 rounds and the best performing 2 make it into the final

At the completion of bracket rounds, a count back will be made to establish the finalists. The criteria will be as follows -

Two racers with three round wins a piece – automatic entry into the final regardless of red lights or breakouts in the last round.

More than two racers with three wins a piece – any racer with a red light or breakout in the last round, regardless of whether you are on a bye run or not, will be excluded from this count back immediately. The count back is then based on elapsed time versus dial-in in the last round of racing. Reaction times play no part in the count back. The two racers who are closest to their respective dial-ins are then eligible for the final. If by chance the count back is a dead heat, it will then be based on the second last round of racing and so on until a winner is established. (Special Note: in the extreme case of only one racer being eligible, eg. All others red lit their final round but won the race, then the red light would be null and void to establish the second finalist based on closest to dial-in)

One racer with three wins and one racer with two wins - automatic entry into the final regardless of red lights or breakouts in the last round.

No racers with three wins and only two racers with two wins - automatic entry into the final regardless of red lights or breakouts in the last round.

No racers with three wins and more than two racers with two wins – count back will be made as above

Any dispute or questions regarding rule interpretations, please take them up with the meeting director. The meeting director’s decision is final. 

Seeding

There will be No seeding in racing, all competitors in each bracket will be paired up as they arrive in the staging lanes. It is the competitors’ responsibility to make sure they do not run the same competitor twice. Bye runs will be selected at random by the Willowbank Officials. 

Rules  

* All vehicles must be pre 78 manufacture date (Aussie Vehicles must be mass produced by 1978 and American Vehicles must be manufactured by 1978)

* All bikes must be 1984 or older (naked bikes only)

* No rear engine dragsters allowed

* No Electronics are permitted, except Trans Brakes and Data Loggers as long as they have no control over the vehicles performance. All Electronics must be removed from a vehicle or proven to be totally disabled prior to scrutineering. Anyone found to be in breach of this rule will be disqualified from the event.
